RC Green Shopfitters

Rebranding five decades
of family trading

brand design | website design & development

Family business RC Green asked us to revamp their website and brand identity.

RC Green were facing a turning point when they got in touch with us. After 50 years of trading, the Cwmbran-based shopfitting business wanted a new website and branding that could help them transition as founder Robert retired and sons Matthew and James got more involved in the business.

The website and branding had been the same for 10 years and was in need of a refresh. We spent time with James, one of the co-owners, and took in the company's story and history. A well-established business filled with family pride, RC Green wanted to communicate their heritage and their secure position in the market.

We went away and came up with a fresh new logo, colour schemes and graphics. These were then used across printed collateral, internal documents and signage.

As RC Green has such a rich history it was key to strike a visual balance between a traditional and modern identity. We didn’t want to put off potential customers with an ‘old hat’ look, but we wanted to carry forward the decades of trust accrued by the old brand.

Our branding process led us to develop a soft typography logo fused with linear, modern angles. From there we created digital and printed collateral elements – business cards, letter heads, etc – and a brand guideline document to guide the marketing when we’re not around.

Want to revamp your website or branding?

Once Robert and his team were happy with the direction of the branding, we started designing and developing the new website. We combined their warm family values and added a touch of Big Lemon zest, to help the site stand out. Using slanted angles and polygonal effects throughout the site, we were able to create something we’re really proud of.

RC Green’s website was the cherry on the cake of an already successful business.

Their work with brands such as Paddy Power, Peacocks and Pizza Hut tells you everything you need to know - why tell when you can show?

RC Green took their new site and branding and ran with it. The project rejuvenated their marketing and prompted them to build their social media presence, putting themselves out there with a brand that supports their values and history.
