12 years

12 bloomingly-lovely-years of Big Lemon.

What does Big Lemon land look like 12 years on?

Well, our current working set up is a simple and productive one. We are smashing the working from home badge. Homemade snacks (current favs, salted almond chocolate bars); wholesome homemade lunches (fresh bread from the local bakery turned into huge sandwiches, with a fried egg on everything style groovy goodness); home ground fresh 'posh' coffee (currently loving Girls Who Grind half-caf and decaf); cat-loving-vibes throughout the day (totally an underrated calming the nervous system kick); bouncing away on a bouncy exercise ball instead of a boring static chair (the benefits of them are huge, well worth adopting)...

This jazz along with a flexible working approach, because life is too short, and we actually want to be with our family and live our version of the good-life.

We don't take any of this for granted. Having been in the dark depths of coming extremely close to closing the Big Lemon doors a few years back, the impacts of Covid eventually took its toll, we are embracing every moment of this amazingly rewarding ride.

We may be smaller but that does not mean we are making any less of a positive impact. Those ripples are being felt far and wide. How so? Well..

We are super proud to have our B-Corp status successfully re-certified earlier this year.

We have continued to juggle 10 or so projects at any one time.

We have taken some brave and bold decisions, pushing us out of our comfort zone, and believing in ourselves.

We have expanded our reach over the last couple of years in particular, not just who we are collaborating with, but how, as the style of our projects are more complex, and longer delivery, which makes for fun exploration and digging deep.

Recently we have created a product with a diverse range of people who identify as neurodivergent that is being used Uk wide; we completed the biggest amount of focus groups ever for a product we are co-creating for carers, and professionals, of children with hearing loss; we are working with a bunch of beautifully impactful charities; our Owen has been wearing his innovative hat and created the SGRIPT platform with the wonderful folk at Triongl.

We are going with our gut, and our hearts, and this has proven to be so important time and time again.

We want more of this feel-good in our world - please do reach out to us if you have something rolling that we could bring to life together.
